For me, well-being means feeling healthy, energetic, optimistic and content. How often in your Life have you truly felt like that?
So what’s my secret? Homeopathy and Hatha Yoga.
More than 25 years ago I decided to change my career from China trade, to studying Homeopathy. I had always wanted to study a form of Complementary medicine and after an introductory evening course in Homeopathy I knew I had found my second career. After 5 years of part-time study in the UK plus a year of clinical experience I felt confident enough to set up my own practice.
Since qualifying in 1993 I have used Homeopathy to improve the health of all ages of patients, with every type of illness, from the common cold to chronic states of ill health. It has enabled me to bring up my own family without frequent visits to the doctor.
Homeopathy works by gently and effectively stimulating the body’s self healing potential, using medicines (remedies) made from the mineral, animal and plant kingdoms.
Today it is used by tens of thousands of physicians and more than 500 million people worldwide, making it one of the most popular forms of complementary and integrated medicine.(1)
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is the second largest system of medicine in the world with a growth rate of 20-25% every year. This worldwide growth in popularity has seen it being legally accepted in 66 countries.(2).
Many well known figures from the British Royal family to top athletes use Homeopathy including Olympic athletes Usain Bolt, James Ellington (British sprinter) Linford Christie.
However, Homeopathy was controversial when it was first developed by Dr Samuel Hahnemann in Germany in the mid 18th century, and it still remains controversial today because the science behind how the remedies work, is still not fully understood. Nevertheless having practiced for over 25 years I can say without question that many patients’ health issues have been improved dramatically.(See Testimonials.)

Why Hatha Yoga?
I discovered Yoga at university and experienced how it helped me keep fit and deal calmly with stressful situations. Since university I practiced irregularly but after moving to Hong Kong in 2008 I started attending regular classes again. and decided that I wished to learn more.
In 2016 I completed 200 hours teacher training with Sudevi of Yoga Paramgati (www.yogaparamgati.com), certified by Yoga International Alliance. Since then I have been sharing my knowledge by teaching small groups at different venues in Hong Kong and overseas.
Yoga actually means “yoke" or “link" and the aim of yoga practice is to connect all aspects of your being, physical, emotional, mental and deep self. Regular practice, at any age, enables you to improve your physical strength, suppleness and energy as well as helping you remain calm and positive in the face of adversity.
