My Way to Wellbeing

More than 25 years ago I decided to change my career from China trade, to studying Homeopathy. I had always wanted to study a form of Complementary medicine and after an introductory evening course in Homeopathy I knew I had found my second career. After 5 years of part-time study in the UK plus a year of clinical experience I felt confident enough to set up my own practice.

Since qualifying in 1993 I have used Homeopathy to improve the health of all ages of patients, with every type of illness, from the common cold to chronic states of ill health. It has enabled me to bring up my own family without frequent visits to the doctor.

I graduated from the London School of Classical Homeopathy in 1991 and registered as a professional Homeopath with the Society of Homeopaths, UK in 1993 after 1 year of supervised clinical practice.

During more than 20 years of professional practice in the UK and Hong Kong I have developed private practices in Surrey, UK and Hong Kong. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to teach Homeopathic Pharmacology and Philosophy, First Aid Homeopathy and to supervise Homeopathic students.

In addition, my first degree is in Chinese Studies, and as far as I am aware, I am the only expatriate Homeopath in Hong Kong to be able to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese fluently. I also understand French and am learning Italian.

I offer regular talks to the public on First Aid Homeopathy, Homeopathy for Pregnancy and Childbirth, Women’s Hormones, Back to School - Homeopathy for the New School Year, Homeopathy for Stress and Anxiety, and Sports Therapy. Please go to the Home and Knowledge page for the details of the next talk.

For personal interest and professional development I regularly attend Continuing Professional Development courses online and in the UK.

I also hold Professional Indemnity Insurance for both Homeopathy and Yoga.

I have two grown up daughters, and live on South Lantau with my husband, 1 dog and 2 cats.

What motivates me?

"I enjoy the one to one supportive relationship I develop with my patients and their families and feel privileged to be entrusted with helping them regain their health. I relish the challenge of researching the correct remedy for each person, and of course love the satisfaction of seeing them return with renewed vigour and health!"
