Hatha Yoga with Mina Weight

The ancient sage Patanjali brought us Yoga " for the serenity and sanctity of mind, grammar for clarity and purity of speech and medicine for the perfection of health”.

I have practiced Yoga for most of my Life but in Mar 2016 completed 200 hours Yoga Alliance International training as a Hatha Yoga teacher with Sudevi Sundari of Yoga Paramgati (www.yogaparamgati.com).

I offer beginners and regular students of Yoga, Holistic Yoga classes, in which I teach a combination of warm ups, breath work (Pranayama), stretching,strengthening and balancing postures (Asanas), focusing (Dhahrana) and inner reflection (Pratayahara), touching on the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Every class ends with shavasana, a practice of deep relaxation and reflection in which you can enter a state of consciousness between sleep and wakefulness.

Asanas or physical postures are only one of the 8 limbs of Yogic philosophy designed specifically to enable the student to be able to sit comfortably for meditation but also to stimulate,balance and connect every part of our being. When all these elements of Yoga are combined, even in just a 1 hour class, it is possible to feel deeply calm, energised and optimistic.

Many physical and emotional problems can be helped by practicing Yoga regularly including blood pressure and circulatory problems, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, digestive issues, and so on. Yoga is the perfect complement to Homeopathy for maintaining one’s health whatever your age.

However if you feel shy about coming to a group class I also offer private lessons for individuals at your home or mine.

Current timetable:-

Tuesdays: 10B Tong Fuk, 8-9:15 or later if requested

Thursdays: Lantau Base Camp, Mui Wo, Lantau Island, Candlelit Hatha 7:45-8:45pm
